About Us

 As a lifelong music fan (& as someone who has also read High Fidelity a few too many times) stumbling into the record business is a dream come true.  After years working in the music industry, and with a lifetime spent at gigs and digging around record stores, it seems like the natural fit.
Badgers Den Records has grown out of a weekly radio show on the local community station Beagle Radio. From a radio show blasting out jazzy jams and indie anthems, Badgers Den Records now encompasses DJ sets, concert curation and a mobile record store popping up all over the greater Whangārei area – and now a webstore!
